In Memoriam: Doug Tongue, Age 51

Douglas P. Tongue, 51, of Newark, DE, died suddenly on June 13, 2008.

He was born on April 15, 1957 in Abington PA. Following the relocation of his family to the New York City area, he lived in Cranford, NJ and Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island. He attended Rider College and Adelphi University. He was a former Assistant Vice President of MBNA America in Newark, and prior to that, he was associated with Chase Manhattan Bank, New York.

Douglas is survived by his parents, Paul and Marjorie Tongue of Williamsburg, VA, by his sister, Suzanne, of London, England, and by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be remembered by his family and his many friends for his kindness, his generosity, and his sense of humor - especially his love of puns. He had a great affection for animals, including his beloved pet cats.
