Chase Alumni are invited to a special lunch with wine tasting on Friday, March 26, 2010 to celebrate publication of Chase alumnus Frank Reider's Wines of Passion, The Best of South America: A Connoisseur's Guide to the Finest Wines of Argentina and Chile.
The lunch will be held at Reider's restaurant, GOL! The Taste of Brazil, 411 East Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, Fla. (Please check the restaurant's Web site for directions.)
He will discuss the wines and sign books, which will be available for sale at the lunch.
"Cheval Blanc has achieved the rare ranking of Grande Cru Classe A from the French Government and is considered one of the truly outstanding Bordeaux wines. Its know-how has made its Argentine subsidiary, Cheval des Andes and Terrazas, become one of the great wineries in South America," said Reider. "On March 26th, a representative of Terrazas will join us to taste their wines. This is very prestigious, and these wines are sensational." The tasting also will feature a new release from Lapostolle, Grand Marnier's Chilean subsidiary.
John Ward, CAA president, will attend and provide an update on the Association.
The lunch, starting at 12:15 pm, will be priced at $25 per person (wines included), plus tip and tax, and can be paid to the restaurant at the time of the lunch.
Please reserve, however, through the CAA, by clicking here (reserve even if you are not sure about coming--there is no obligation) . Chase Alumni are welcome to bring guests.
