Thirty-one Chase alumni and friends gathered on July 22, 2010 at Zengo, a Latin-Asian fusion restaurant near Grand Central, for conviviality borne out of what might be coined "convinoality".
The five-course dinner was accompanied by eight wines selected by CAA member (and by now, official CAA sommelier) Frank Reider. From the evidence, it was an evening of wine consumption more than just tasting, and a successful first-ever CAA summer activity in New York City.
Was there a favorite wine of the evening? Everyone seemed to like a different one – proof of the high level of each of the wines from Argentina and Chile.
