First-Ever CAA Event in Florida Smashing

Wine Tasting and Lunch at Frank Reider's GOL! The Taste of Brazil

More than 20 Chase Alumni and guests got a taste of Brazil, Chile, Argentina and nostalgia when they attended a special lunch with wine tasting to celebrate publication of Chase alumnus Frank Reider's Wines of Passion, The Best of South America: A Connoisseur's Guide to the Finest Wines of Argentina and Chile.

The March 26, 2010 lunch was held at Frank's restaurant, GOL! The Taste of Brazil, in Delray Beach, Fla.

John Ward, CAA president, gave an update on the Association.  He said the concensus was to have another event in 2011.  John's guest was Michael Mead – cousin of Chuck Adams, the CAA San Francisco Bay Area coordinator, and the son of States Mead, a very well know Chase executive. Michael's sister Kathleen is a member of the CAA.

Also participating in the event was Ernie Gustavson, reputedly the CAA's oldest member at age 90.  Click here to read about his (very long) Life After Chase.
