Subway Series, June 10, 2018: New York Wins!
The NY Mets snapped an eight-game losing streak to beat the NY Yankees 2-0 in the third game of a "Subway Series" – and 46 Chase Alumni, family and friends were at CitiField to see the June miracle.
Yankees star player Aaron Judge was not scheduled to play, but the stadium roared as he came in as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning. Although he got a hit and advanced another player to second, Mets pitcher Robert Gsellman got the next two Yankee batters to foul out and fly out.
All told, it was a night of cool weather, cold beer and a victory to be treasured by half the crowd!
