CAA Austria April Luncheon
Speaker Was Erhard Grossnig, Turnaround Guru
Chase Alumni Austria met at the St. Johanns Club in Vienna on April 3, 2019. The luncheon was attended by over 20 alumni.
Present were: Richard Belcredi, Peter Böhler, Armin Dallmann, Gerhard Eisenburger, Wolfgang Fenkart-Fröschl, Rainer Franz, Rudolf von Geymüller, Erhard Grossnig (photo, left), Günter Korp, Michael Kraus, Norbert Lill, Volker Pesta, Peter Pichler, Heinz Ratka, Philip Reading, Wilhelm Rosenfeld, Ernst Traun, Christian Tury and Eberhard Winkelbauer. Gundi Wentner, Edith Fischer and Alexander Götzinger unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. (A special get well to Fischi, who usually takes photos at the luncheons!)
Our guest speaker was Erhard Grossnig, who, after his career at Chase, became Austria´s most successful turnaround manager. He gave an interesting briefing on his acquisition of Semper Constia Privatbank AG in 2009 and the subsequent sale to Landesbank Liechtenstein in 2018.
Our next gatherings are scheduled for June 5, September 17 and November 20.
