In Memoriam: Neil Tedder, 81
Managed Nigerian Debt Crisis for Chase
Neil Tedder, 81, died suddenly on April 5, 2019 in England.
Tedder was part of, and then managed, the Africa Trade Division in London from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. He was well known for obtaining the mandate for, and then managing, the Nigerian debt crisis, which brought Chase into close contact with many banks and corporates around the world, who would not normally have been natural customers of Chase.
Tedder's funeral service is at Guildford Crematorium in Guildford, Surrey, on Thursday. April 18, 2019 at 9:45 am.
From David Willmott: He was well respected around Chase London, and he will be missed by his many friends and ex colleagues.
From Nicole Birrell (CMB London 1978-83 and CMOC Sydney/ Chase AMP 1983-90): Fond memories of a true gentleman and a great believer in Africa’s potential. Rest in Peace, Neil.
