From Hans van den Houten: Don and I met in the Credit Training Program in 1967 and developed a personal connection through the Chase. We walked different path during our careers in the financial world, but we stayed in close contact for years. His marriage brought him to Hungary with frequent stays and visits. The last few years, our contact was less frequent, in part because of the corona situation, as well as my travels to Oregon and absence from New York. I will always remember Don as a good friend of our times at Chase and thereafter.
