Three New CAA Board Nominees
Election to be formalized at October 2, 2023 NYC Reception
The CAA Board is expanding. We are pleased to propose three new directors for three-year terms.
- Daniel Alvarez
- Paul Brandow
- Richard Ingham
Their election will be formalized by a vote of the general membership at the NYC reception on October 2, 2023. They join Ken Jablon (president), Wolfgang Fenkart-Fröschl, Ottho Heldring (Treasurer), Simon Mansfield, Gene Marshall and Mary Molloy.
Nominations were solicited through the CAA newsletter and suggestions from CAA directors.
Here are the three candidates:
Daniel Alvarez began at JPMorgan Chase in June 2016 as a summer technology analyst/infrastructure engineer, and left in April 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer in Global Technology Infrastructure - Product Strategy and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Since May 2022, he has worked for Amazon Web Services as an Enterprise Solutions Architect. He plans to contribute a technology column to the Chase Alumni website.
A graduate of Brooklyn College, he is an Alumni Champion of the school and was named one of Brooklyn College's 30 Under 30. He lives in Brooklyn.
Paul Brandow retired in 2020 after more than 12 years as Executive Vice President of E*TRADE Financial. As Chief Administrative Officer, Brandow oversaw the Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance and Human Resource functions. Previously, he served E*TRADE in several leadership roles, including Senior Advisor, and Chief Risk Officer.
Brandow worked at Chase for more than 34 years, retiring as a Managing Director in 2006. Among his positions at Chase was the presidency of JPMorgan Securities. A one-time Spanish major at Hamilton College, Brandow has an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lilves in Dover Plains, NY.
Richard Ingham is a longtime active member of CAA's London chapter. A Royal Air Force veteran, he afterwards joined the 1977-1978 Chase Credit Training Program in London. Ingham served Chase Manhattan in Milan as Head of the Credit Department (1978-79) and Head of Capital Goods, Commercial Bank (1980-1985). For the Chase Investment Bank, he worked on Project Finance and Utilities, EMEA, and was assigned to New York for a year, to the team reengineering the Investment Bank. Ingham left Chase in 1997 to work for ABN Amro, in Amsterdam as Head of Special Industries and in London as a Director. Since 2001, he has been a Director providing corporate and project finance advisory services at Glen House Capital Strategies Ltd.
Ingham holds a BSc in Mathematics and Electronic Engineering from the University of Manchester, England. He lives in Sevenoaks, Kent.
