Chase Austria Pre-Summer Luncheon, 2024
A Full House!!
From Wolfgang Fenkart-Fröschl: The Austria Chapter held its pre-summer luncheon at the St Johanns‘s Club in Vienna on June 13, 2024. We were a full house, with 18 members (plus Edith Fischer, our indefatigable photographer and organizer) present: Richard Belcredi, Helmut Breit, Armin Dallmann, Clemens Falkhausen, Wolfgang Fenkart-Fröschl, Rainer Franz, Rudolf von Geymüller, Jan Homan, Michael Kraus, Peter Püspök, Philipp Reading, Wolfgang Samesch, Jörg Schröder, Heinz Sernetz, Ernst Traun, Christian Tury, Jens Weidenbruch. Manfred Kunert could not make the luncheon, but we met him at Cafe Oberlaa at Neuer Markt, which was the old Chase location – not sure whether our Chase colleagues could have made such delicious cakes! We welcomed Jörg Schroeder, who took a short trip to Vienna and met some of his old colleagues. (Jörg ran Chase Vienna Treasury from 1978-1982.) Our next CAA luncheon is scheduled for October 1, 2024.
