From Phil Sorace: I knew Dave and his wife, Nancy, from my days in Institutional banking and as a stalwart member of the community in Ridgewood and St. E’s Church. He was a soft-spoken gentleman, always mindful of others. After retiring from Chase, he and Nancy built a thriving retail practice at Keller Williams Realty. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and former colleagues.

From Karl SchmidtI was saddened to learn of David's passing. The first time I met David was at a Chase Community Bank Christmas party in December 1966. I had joined Chase only a few months earlier, and had recently arrived from Germany. David went out of his way to welcome me warmly at this party and introduced me to other Chase colleagues.
Although we never worked together directly, David always greeted me warmly whenever we met, including at some Alumni get togethers.
Last time I saw David was about five years ago at the Shelter Island Yacht Club, where he graciously offered to sponsor me for membership to that prestigious yacht club. R. I. P.  David.
