20 Years at JPMC, Left in 2003 from Loan Syndications

Louella Jones (Johnson), 66, died on July 15, 2021. Her career at JPMorgan Chase spanned approximately 20 years until she left in 2003, primarily due to health reasons. Her last assignment was as a Second Vice President in corporate real estate business and investments, within the Loan Syndications area.
After leaving JPMC, she moved to Newburgh, NY and studied at Pace University to receive her Masters of Science in Consulting Psychology and Mental Health Care. She held a NYS license in alcohol and substance abuse counseling. She established her firm Redmagnolia Kompany, LLC, and offered counseling services locally in Newburgh until the time of her death.
A woman of many talents, in 2015 she she published Black Feat, which chronicled her challenging life and battles in the healthcare system for her ongoing heart issues and eventual open heart surgery.
While at Chase, she worked under her married name – Johnson. After her divorce in 1999, she reverted back to Jones, her maiden name.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Kevin Johnson, and her two daughters: Khaliah (a medical doctor) and Naimah.
