In Memoriam: David A. White, 86

27 Years as International Banker at Chase 

 
 
David A. White, a former Chase Manhattan Vice President, died on November 18, 2024 in Chicago, having recently moved there from Singapore.
 
White was from Kansas. He joined Chase in 1969. In the mid-1970s,  he worked in Colombia at the Banco del Comercio, at that time, partly owned by Chase. He moved to Chase's office in Mexico City and from there was assigned to the Chase branches in Germany, Hong Kong and Singapore. 
 
After leaving Chase in 1996, he worked in the bond insurance business in Asia. At the end of 2003, White retired from MBIA Insurance Corp in London,  where he was in charge of International Risk Management. He and his wife, Noemi, returned to Singapore, where they were Permanent Residents.
 
Among his survivors are his wife, two sons and their wives, and four grandchildren.
