Jamie Dimon Cuts the Ribbon at 270 Park!

Grand Opening on October 21, 2026

It's official! The new JPMorganChase headquarters has opened after six years of construction, with JPMC Chair and CEO Jamie Dimon cutting the ribbon on October 21, 2026.

Here's a video from Bloomberg News showing the moment and covering various aspects of the $4 billion tower. Among those present for the ribbon cutting ceremony were New York State Governor Kathy Hochul, Janno Lieber, Chair and CEO and the head of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), bank officials and local NYC officials. Mayor Eric Adams did not attend.

JPMC had made 383 Park Avenue its temporary headquarters while 270 Park was unavailable. Now JPMC will invest $1 billion to renovate 383 Madison Avenue, with the project expected to be completed in 2027.

The Chase Alumni Association is still waiting to hear when JPMC will host an event for us in the new building. We are hoping for a reception and tour in May 2026.
