From Raúl Chávez Fields: Rudy came to work for me in Karachi in the late 1980s as my Country Credit Officer and as my deputy when I was Chase Pakistan's Country Manager. Rudy assumed the Country Manager position soon after I was transferred to Hong Kong. As I recall, Rudy came to Pakistan after working in the Credit Audit Group at 1CPM in Manhattan for quite a few years. Rudy was a terrific banker, manager, friend and superb human being.
