NYC Summer Wine Tasting Dinner on July 22

Chase Alumni are invited to a first-ever CAA NYC summer event, on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Richard Sandoval's highly acclaimed midtown restaurant Zengo

The dinner and wines have been chosen by Chase alumnus and oenophile Frank Reider, who will talk about the wines during dinner.

A five-course dinner with eight spectacular wines, tip and tax included, will be $80 per person.    We require one active CAA member to register, but each member may bring a non-member guest.  Registration and pre-payment online are required and have been extended until we have 30 registrants.

The July 22nd dinner will begin at 6:30 sharp. Guests wishing to have a cocktail beforehand, at additional expense, should arrive earlier.  Zengo, which has a Latin-Asian menu, is located at 622 Third Avenue (at 40th Street). Chef-owner Richard Sandoval's accolades include Bon Appétit Restaurateur of the Year and Mexico's Toque d'Oro.

Reider, owner of GOL! The Taste of Brazil in Delray Beach, FL, recently published Wines of Passion, The Best of South America: A Connoisseur's Guide to the Finest Wines of Argentina and Chile.  A wine tasting lunch hosted by Reider for Chase alumni in Florida in March 2010 was a great success with attendees.

On July 22nd, Reider will discuss the wines served and sign books, which can be reserved and paid for online with your dinner reservation. (Normally $29.95, the book will be available to CAA members and guests for $24.)
