Adding a Face to Your Name...and to the Way We Were
Dear Reader,
Now that the new Chase Alumni Association web site is up and running, members have asked if and how they can upload their photos to the Members' Directory.
That feature is now available, so why not jog a lot of memories by uploading your photograph? (And, while you're at it, maybe add more information to your member profile!)
Upload a headshot from your Chase days OR a current portrait (or you can show your photo composition skills and combine the two). Only one photo per member page, however.
Here's how you do it:
• Go to My Account on the upper right of your screen.
• Click on the tab My Profile and then My Picture and follow directions for uploading.
Please note:
• Images must be jpegs, not PDFs, GIFs, TIFs, bitmaps or other picture files.
• The system demands that the image be less than 50KB.
(If you right-click on the photo you're thinking of sending, click the last item on the menu: Properties. It will tell you the size of your picture file.)
• We recommend a low-resolution (72 dpi) photo that is not wider than 350 pixels.
If all this is gobbledygook, and you have a digital photo but don't know how to edit it, e-mail it to our web coordinator, Andrea. She'll resize the photo, and send it back to you for uploading.
While we're talking about pictures, note that we are introducing a new photo album -- Vintage Photos: The Way We Were at Chase, a catch-all for "historic" photos of our members from their tenures at Chase. If you want to add to the collection, please send your photos, clearly labeled as to time, place, circumstance, and people in the photo, and send them to Andrea.
If you cannot scan the photos and want to send hard copies, please mail them to:
Andrea Axelrod
175 West 92nd St./Suite 5D
New York, NY 10025-7570 USA
Please indicate whether you want them mailed back.
