Chase Alumni: Registration Opens for 1CMP Event; "Life After Chase" Resumes

Dear Reader,

Registration is now open for the CAA Fall members-only reception, to be held this year on the 60th floor of 1 Chase Manhattan Plaza.  In the last few years, the event was sponsored by JPMorgan Chase and free to members.  Without that support this year, the CAA will subsidize half the cost; members will be asked to pay $25 per person.  For details, please click below.

An early 40th reunion luncheon is being organized for the Credit Class I (June 1970) on the same day.  Click below for information.

Meanwhile, a new CAA Houston chapter will be hosting a reception on September 24, 2009, and CAA Frankfurt will host a networking event on October 1, 2009.

One of the most popular features of our old print newsletter was "Life After Chase" – where members shared news of new jobs, new ventures, retirement activities, milestones, etc.  We had hoped that the interactive "forums" on the Web site would take the place of this feature, but that has not occurred.  So we are going to do two things:
1) Run longer feature stories about our members that feel natural under  the "Life After Chase" heading; and
2) Run shorter items that can be sent to news@chasealum.org and will be printed in a new "Life After Chase" section.  Please remember that these items can be viewed by anyone; they are not restricted to CAA members.  If you have a new e-mail address or phone number or such, that information should be entered within your directory listing, which can only be seen by your fellow alumni.

Our first "Life After Chase" story has to do with Bob Hunter, who will be honored by New York Downtown Hospital. Click below.
