Chase Alumni: Register for 1CMP and London; Results of CAA Member Survey

Dear Reader,

You have about a week left to join the more than 380 CAA members who have registered for the November 4th event at 1CMP. Please note the change of time for the reception: 6 to 8:30 pm.

In the last few years, the event was sponsored by JPMorgan Chase and free to members. Without that support this year, the CAA will subsidize half the cost; members will be asked to pay $25 per person.

If you have pre-registered, please take a moment to doublecheck that your name is on the "Look Who's Coming" list and appears as you want it to on your name tag. If you would prefer that it appear differently, please contact news@chasealum.org by 6 pm (Eastern) on Monday, November 2nd.

Remember:

1) The event is for CAA members only.

2) Advance registration is required and closes at 6 pm (Eastern) on Monday, November 2nd. No tickets will be sold at the door.

3) Admission is not included in the cost of membership. You must register – and pay – separately for this event. For details, please click below.

An early 40th reunion luncheon is being organized for the Credit Class I (June 1970) on the same Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at 1:15 pm at Fraunces Tavern. Guests and spouses are invited. Click below for information.

Last spring, paid-up CAA members were asked to participate in a survey that would help the Board know more about the CAA membership and its needs and how we should plan for the future. More than a third of our members returned surveys -- quite an impressive number! Click on the story below for some of the findings.

One of the things our members asked for were more stories online to balance the number of obituaries. We need your help, however, for leads to stories for "Life After Chase." Send ideas and items to news@chasealum.org. We will develop some leads into full-blown articles. Short items will be added to the "Life After Chase" blog as they come in. Remember that the blog items can be viewed by anyone; they are not restricted to CAA members. If you have a new e-mail address or phone number or such, that information should be entered within your directory listing, which can only be seen by your fellow alumni.
