Chase Alumni: Last Day to Register for 1CMP + Campaign for Financial Literacy
Dear Reader,
Registration closes Monday, November 2nd at 6 pm (Eastern) for the 1 CMP reception on Wednesday, November 4th. Please note the change of time for the event: 6 to 8:30 pm.
If you have already pre-registered, please take a moment to double check that your name is on the "Look Who's Coming" list and appears as you want it to on your name tag. If you would prefer that it appear differently, please contact news@chasealum.org by 6 pm (Eastern) on Monday, November 2nd.
Ina Drew, Chief Investment Officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co., and a member of the firm's Executive and Operating Committees, will address the Chase Alumni on Wednesday.
Remember:
1) The event is for CAA members only.
2) Advance registration is required. Due to security, absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door.
3) Admission is not included in the cost of membership. You must register – and pay $25 – separately for this event. For details, please click below.
If you are attending the event on Wednesday at 1CMP, look for signs around the 60th floor that may help you to find colleagues and friends from your Chase line of business more readily. There will be signs for the following affinity groups:
- Corporate & Investment Banking
- International
- Retail Banking (Branches, Small Business, Credit Card, Mortgage, Auto Finance, Student Lending)
- Private Banking/Wealth Management
- Treasury Services (Securities, Pension, Safe Keeping, Trust, Cash Management), and
- Corporate Staff (Comptroller, Audit, HR, Credit, Legal, Operations & Systems, Treasury).

An early 40th reunion luncheon is being organized for the Credit Class I (June 1970) on the same Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at 1:15 pm at Fraunces Tavern. Guests and spouses are invited. Click below for information.

On Thursday, November 5th, VH1 will air a special launching a "Stand Up for Financial Literacy Campaign" that will culminate in "financial literacy month" -- April 2010. In this week's "Life After Chase", read how Bryan Barnett is involved with the campaign and looking to recruit volunteer financial professionals who would teach kids in April as part of the program.
Send ideas and items for "Life After Chase" to news@chasealum.org. We will develop some leads into full-blown articles. Short items will be added to the "Life After Chase" blog as they come in. Remember that the blog items can be viewed by anyone; they are not restricted to CAA members. If you have a new e-mail address or phone number or such, that information should be entered within your directory listing, which can only be seen by your fellow alumni.
