Chase Alumni: Worth Flying to Florida!

Dear Reader,

A special treat awaits the Chase alumni who will attend a special lunch and wine tasting at CAA member Frank Reider's restaurant in Delray Beach, Fla., on Friday, March 26, 2010: They will not only hear from Reider, who just published a book on South American wines, but also a representative of Terrazas, the Argentine subsidiary of Cheval Blanc, a truly outstanding Bordeaux.  They'll also get to taste a new release from Lapostolle, Grand Marnier's Chilean subsidiary – and hear from CAA President John Ward. Non-members and designated drivers are welcome.

More than 85 alumni have already registered online for the members-only NYC spring reception, to be held at the 3 West Club (3 W 51st St.) on Thursday, April 22, 2010.  The price is $23 online ($35.75 at the door). Space may be limited, so we encourage you to register early.

Once again there's room for just one more single for the CAA Netherlands reunion.  If you want to join the waiting list, please contact Ken Jablons (jablonkt@aol.com), and let him know whether you would be paying in U.S. dollars or euros.

One new retiree who will participate in the CAA Netherlands reunion is Fawzi Malouf, profiled in this week's "Life After Chase". He's been teaching what he learned in Chase Credit Training -- as well as a near 35-year banking career -- at the American University in Beirut.  Click below for more.

Please send ideas and items for future editions of "Life After Chase" to news@chasealum.org.  We will develop some into full-blown articles, while short items will be added to the "Life After Chase" blog as they come in. Remember that the blog items can be viewed by anyone; they are not restricted to CAA members.  If you have a new e-mail address or phone number or such, that information should be entered within your directory listing, which can only be seen by your fellow alumni.
