Chase Alumni: Registration Open for NYC Wine Dinner
Dear Reader,
Online registration is now open for the CAA wine tasting dinner in New York City on Thursday, July 22, 2010.
Thanks to everyone who answered last week's survey. We listened...and we've chosen a terrific restaurant close to Grand Central for the venue: Acclaimed chef Richard Sandoval's Zengo, which features Latin-Asian fusion cuisine. The evening's South American wines, of course, are being chosen by CAA member Frank Reider, who will discuss them at the dinner.
The all-inclusive price for wines, appetizer, salad and entree, with tax and gratuity included, is $80. (The entree will be steak; if you would prefer fish, please indicate this when you register, on the credit card information page under "special instructions".)
In order for us to give a guarantee to the restaurant, we ask that you register and pre-pay for the dinner no later than July 13th. You must be a CAA member to participate. Each member is allowed to bring one guest.
You can also reserve and pre-pay for a copy of Frank's book, Wines of Passion: the Best of South America -- A Connoisseur's Guide to the Wines of Argentina and Chile. Normally selling for $29.95, dinner guests may pre-purchase it for $24. Please note that this is only an offer for people who will attend the July 22nd dinner and pick up the book there, where Frank will be happy to sign it for you.
