Feliz Ano Novo.

That's "happy new year" in just some of the 61 countries in which we find members of the Chase Alumni Association as we enter 2011.

In the last year, the CAA's 23rd, we've added more than 1,000 photos to the Web site, expanded the type of editorial content we offer and added a YouTube channel.  We had a reunion drawing 60 people to the Netherlands and saw new activity in Houston and Florida. We also sadly say sayonara to our Osaka chapter, which, due to the age of most of its members, has decided to fold.  We hope to have photos from the chapter's  final meeting in the next issue of the newsletter.

The holidays are a time for family, and we're pleased we can call you family.  We hope you will use the resources of the CAA – the online membership directory, forums and classifieds – to help you reconnect with old contacts or network with new ones in the coming year.

As always, we thank you for your loyalty, encouragement and participation in the Association.

Register now! We will have another Florida reunion at a wine-tasting lunch on Friday, January 28, 2011, at Frank Reider's GOL! Taste of Brazil restaurant in Delray Beach. The cost is $34.50 per person for lunch with wines (plus tax and tip), which will be paid at the restaurant. We ask that you register online so we know how many to expect.  This is for members and non-members alike, and guests are invited.

For snowbirds (U.S. and foreign) and even alumni from the west coast of Florida who want to make a weekend of it, Frank has offered to arrange for discounted rooms at a local hotel.  If we have enough out-of-town alumni descend on Delray Beach that weekend, we can arrange for other group activities.  If you think you would be interested in a hotel for the weekend, please contact news@chasealum.org.  So far we've only heard from one non-Floridian, which doesn't make for a weekend reunion!

Save the Date! The CAA NYC Spring reception will be held on WEDNESDAY, April 13, 2011 in midtown Manhattan. Please note this is on a Wednesday, not our usual Thursday for events. More details to follow.
