Once, again, audience participation is requested! April 24-30 is Administrative Professionals Week/National Secretaries Week. We're inviting you to contribute tributes/anecdotes/survival stories regarding your favorite admins or (nameless, please) worst secretaries, executive assistants, temps, etc., and how they either saved the day or created havoc for you at your bank. We'll run the stories next week. Please send your reminiscences to news@chasealum.org.

Register online for the CAA London reception on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Remember: This is a members-only event (but the reception is free, thanks to a CAA subsidy). The reception will be held at the JPMorgan Chase headquarters in London, at 125 London Wall. For security reasons, pre-registration by Monday, May 23rd at noon (GMT) is mandatory. In other words, if you're not a member of the CAA and you've been accustomed to simply showing up at a reception and paying at the door, you can't do that this time. The rules have changed. We're looking for a volunteer(s) to coordinate a free CAA cocktail party in Chicago and/or Columbus. We know that there are a lot of individuals eligible to join the CAA from Bank One, First Chicago, National Bank of Detroit, plus current and former employees of JPMorgan Chase who live in or near Chicago or Columbus. We would like to host a reception for these potential CAA members, but we need a local coordinator who would find and negotiate with a venue, promote the event, find other local volunteers and help out on the evening of the reception. The CAA has a lot of experience with these events, so we will offer some help from New York. If you are interested, please contact Ken Jablon (212/799-9525).
