Our Very Own Craig's List: Introducing CAA Classifieds

Dear Reader,

We’ve added free classified ads to the CAA web site. Just look under the Networking tab on the main menu.
(Note you’ll now find forums and the membership directory under the Networking tab as well.)

We’re starting out the classifieds with four categories:
> Jobs Available
> Jobs Wanted
> Sell, Rent, Exchange, Seeking: for property or goods
> Services Offered: for services offered by CAA members

When you go to the classifieds page, you can search the ads by category or by word (e.g., looking to rent a vacation house? either trawl the entries under “Sell, Rent, Exchange, Seeking,” or enter “vacation” under word search).

To post a classified, click on the category in which you would like to be posted, and then click Add New Listing. You will then be asked to fill in a form, requesting listing title, general posting information, and your e-mail address., which can be hidden or shown. You may add other information as well: location (if applicable), your name, your company, special instructions, and how long you would like the ad to remain posted. When you’re through filling out the form, hit the submit button.

We hope this will be a productive feature of the CAA web site for both sides of the transactions!

We also hope you'll read Tony Lord's tantalizing account of his retirement paradise in California's Coachella Valley. (See below.) If you want to tell fellow CAA members about your corner of paradise -- for living or visiting -- please let us know. PS: If you haven't had a chance to fill out the survey that was referenced in our last newsletter, regarding the possibility of a CAA tour to Hungary in Fall 2007, here's the link: Just double-click here and your browser should automatically open the survey. If that fails, copy this link and paste it in your browser's address field: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=250192358877
