Chase Alumni: 1CMP Event Moved to Monday, DECEMBER 3, 2012
Dear Reader,
The CAA New York reception at 1 CMP, first postponed from October 30th to November 5th due to Sandy, will now be held on Monday, December 3, 2012, from 5:30-8 pm.
While the tri-state area is beginning to recover from Sandy, we realize that many of our alumni are still struggling without power, heat or water. Neither mass transit nor gas supplies are back to normal. We are told that 1 CMP is "still a mess".
We hope by scheduling our gathering for early December, all these situations will be resolved. We can think of our event as a second Thanksgiving celebration, gaining strength from the company of friends and colleagues. (We expect it also will be occasion for the sharing of some remarkable storm stories.)
Here's what you need to know about registration for December 3rd (warning: many options!):
1. If you registered for the October 30th or November 5th event, you are registered for the new date.
2. If you cannot attend on December 3rd and need a refund, please contact Ken Jablon (jablonkt@aol.com).
3. If you got a refund from your October 30th registration but now want to attend on December 3rd, please re-register.
4. If you told us you couldn't attend on November 5th but did not get a refund, please re-notify Ken Jablon (jablonkt@aol.com) to say you cannot attend on December 3rd.
5. If you registered under the "Bring a Friend" promotion but cannot attend on December 3rd, please contact Ken Jablon (jablonkt@aol.com), so we can have a better idea of how many will attend. (Similarly, if you told us you could not attend on November 5th but can join us on December 3rd, let Ken know.)
6. We have re-opened registration, in case you weren't planning to attend the other dates due to a conflict but you want to attend on December 3rd. Registration will end at noon, Friday, November 30th
You must register in advance to attend. Due to security requirements, no walk-ins will be admitted.
