Two weeks away: The CAA New York reception at 1 CMP, first postponed from October 30th to November 5th due to Sandy, will now be held on Monday, December 3, 2012, from 5:30-8 pm. We have re-opened registration, in case you weren't planning to attend the other dates due to a conflict but you want to attend on December 3rd. Registration will end at noon, Friday, November 30th.

You must register in advance to attend. Due to security requirements, no walk-ins will be admitted.

Click below to learn the details of our "Bring a Friend" promotion: Basically, if you bring in a new dues-paying member of the CAA, both you and the new member will be admitted to the reception free. The article below will also tell you how to get a refund if you registered for the other dates but cannot attend on the 3rd.

Here's to no more hurricanes, nor'easters or power outages!

One of the faces we'll miss at our NYC gathering is that of Roger Zimmermann, a regular attendee despite moving to North Carolina. We only learned recently of his passing last May. Friends and colleagues wishing to share tributes or remembrances should send them to news@chasealum.org.

CAA London's holiday reception, will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, from 18:30 to 21:00, at Bow Wine Vaults. Admission includes wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres. Dues-paying CAA members will enjoy a 50 percent discount on admission if they register online before 18:00 on Monday, 26 November. Click below to register. Online registration for CAA members is $16 (£10), versus £20 on the door.

Here are two topics on which we'd like your input for potential articles:

1.  Let us know if you had a particularly interesting/trying/gruesome experience "surviving Sandy".

2.  Whom do you think President Obama should nominate to succeed Tim Geithner as Secretary of the Treasury?

Write to: news@chasealum.org

We continue to need your help to find news and story leads for Life After Chase. Are you working with an interesting not-for-profit, either on staff or as a volunteer?  Have you "reinvented" yourself since Chase?  Do you have a hobby that has taken over your life and energy?  If you think you have a story, please contact news@chasealum.org. Please note, though, that we only run stories about dues-paying CAA members.
