Chase Alumni: Dog Day, Tampa Cruise + Dwight Coffin

Dear Reader,

August 22, 2017 was the 45th anniversary of the Chase branch  robbery in Brooklyn  that  was the basis for the movie Dog Day Afternoon. Bob Barrett, whose father was the branch manager, drove by the site recently and said that condos  are being erected there. "You'd like to hope they are going to put a plaque in the lobby or something...or name the place the Dog Day Condos," he wrote to us.
