Life After Chase: Cyrus H. Hui

Opens Tibetan Fine Art Gallery – in Tibet

Having traveled to Tibet a number of years and getting to know the artists in Lhasa, Cyrus K. Hui has opened an art gallery to promote Tibetan contemporary fine art, which is relatively little know to the outside world.

The gallery is located at the center of the ‘Old City’ of Lhasa, on the main street of Beijing Road East just outside of ancient Barkhor, within a 5-minute walk from Jokhang Temple.

"Tibet is unique not only due to its landscape – snow peaks, booming glaciers, blue sky, white cloud, grazing pastureland – but more so because of her indigenous people and heritage – language, culture, religion and art – that deserves preservation and advancement," Hui said.
