LIFE AFTER CHASE
 David Gibson-Moore has lived in the Gulf Region for nearly 30 years. He is a frequent speaker and panel moderator for financial conferences, as well as a consultant for entities wanting to start up in the Middle East. And he has quite a novel to write!
 Happy D-Day Birthday, Seiki Murono! Read of the extraordinary circumstances of his birth and his almost textbook fulfillment of the American Dream in spite of those surroundings, an almost textbook example of American Shame.
 Gene Ret devoted much of his career to the evolving field of privacy compliance. Now "quasi-retired", he offers community groups pro bono presentations to help the less informed (and more gullible) among us navigate scams and threats of identity theft.
 Scenes of the destruction of Mariupol are particularly difficult to watch for Tom Hayne, who spent six weeks there in 1995 as a volunteer with the International Executive Search Corps (IESC), a group co-founded by David Rockefeller.

 # Richard A. "Dick" Johnson, 86, who once ran all NYC's Chase Manhattan retail branches and led its middle-market lending, died in New Jersey on May 19, 2022.
 Donna Diana Johnson, 85, a former VP at Manufacturers Hanover Trust and Chase Manhattan, died in California on June 29, 2022.
 Walter L. Markham, who held various executive positions in a 30-year career at Chemical Bank, died on July 6, 2022, at the age of 77.
 # Robert "Bob" Rosenbloom, part of the Corporate Social Responsibility team at Chemical Bank and the JP Morgan Chase Foundation for 22 years, died unexpectedly on June 21, 2022, at the age of 76.
 Ulrich Krohn, who served Chase Manhattan in Frankfurt, Germany, for more than a quarter of a century, died on June 13, 2022, a few weeks short of his 88th birthday. Read additional remembrances.
 Joseph Bailey Hartmeyer, who retired from Chemical Bank in 1989 as a Senior Vice President, died at the age of 95 on June 24, 2022, in Easton, MD.
 The CAA mourns the June 11, 2022 passing of its longtime member Richard J. (Dick) Boyle, 78, who retired from Chase Manhattan in 1996 as a Vice Chair and Head of Global Lending. Boyle began at Chase in 1965.
 George N. Scandalios, 85, a Senior Vice President at Chase Manhattan in charge of the Bank's Operations/Systems area and worldwide real estate holdings, died on June 1, 2022, in Manhasset, NY.
How Best to Use the CAA Membership Directory
 If you have not done so recently, please update the information in your profile, so that the CAA and other members would be better able to contact you. Using the Membership Directory is a privilege of dues-paying CAA members.
Now get a refresher on how to best use the membership directory to find an individual or
groups of individuals you would like to contact. (Note that only dues-paying members have
access to the directory.).
To get to the directory, log in at www.chasealum.org. On the home page menu, click on Membership and then Member Directory.
When searching by name, or in any of the other search areas, we advise starting by putting in less information in the search field. For example, if you want to find William Smith, type only Smith in the Search by Name box; if you put in “William Smith” and he is calling himself Bill Smith in his profile,
you will not find him.
If you want to find members who live near you,
enter the city, state or country (or any combination) under Location. The Years at Chase search is very valuable. Type in 1996-2005, for instance, and you will find everyone who worked for the bank (including heritage banks) during those years. You can narrow your search by also typing in a location or job title.
Once you have entered the search words, click on Search at the bottom of the page. When members’ names appear, click on their names to obtain more detailed information about them.
